3. Appointment Policy

Booking Appointments

  • Appointments can be made by phone, website, or in person
  • A valid contact number and email address are required
  • Advance booking is recommended for preferred time slots
  • Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability

Cancellation Policy

  • 24 Hours Notice: Full refund or reschedule available
  • Less than 24 Hours: 50% cancellation fee may apply
  • No-Show: Full charge of service may apply
  • Late Arrival: Services may be shortened or rescheduled

Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. You may reschedule your appointment once without penalty if you provide at least 24 hours notice. Repeated rescheduling may result in appointment forfeiture.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment or reduce service time to accommodate other clients.

Pricing

Deposits

Deposit Requirements: Certain services (bridal packages, extensive treatments) may require a deposit at booking. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to rescheduled appointments with proper notice.

Gratuity

Tips are appreciated but never required. If you're satisfied with your service, gratuity for your stylist or therapist is welcome at your discretion (typically 15-20% of service cost).

5. Client Conduct

Expected Behavior

All clients must:

  • Treat staff and other clients with respect
  • Follow salon policies and instructions
  • Disclose allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions
  • Maintain appropriate behavior and language
  • Respect the cleanliness of our facilities

Health & Safety

Prohibited Conduct

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for excellence, beauty services involve inherent risks. Results may vary based on individual factors. We are not liable for:

  • Individual reactions to products or treatments
  • Results that differ from expectations due to individual characteristics
  • Damage caused by failure to follow aftercare instructions
  • Pre-existing conditions not disclosed before service

Personal Property

Beautylity is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Please secure your valuables or leave them at home.

Maximum Liability

Important: Our maximum liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Patch Tests

For chemical treatments (hair color, perms, etc.), we recommend patch tests 24-48 hours before service. Clients declining patch tests assume full responsibility for any adverse reactions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Beautylity and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Photography & Marketing

  • We may photograph services for portfolio and marketing purposes
  • You may opt-out of photography at any time
  • Photos used with permission become our property for promotional use
  • You retain rights to request removal of your images

Reviews & Testimonials

By submitting reviews or testimonials, you grant us the right to use them in our marketing materials. We may edit for length but will not alter the meaning.

  • Terminate services mid-appointment for safety or conduct violations
